Writers' Roundup: February 19

February 19, 2010

You know the drill… Links from this week!

  • Literary agent Chip MacGregor on memoir, including how to move the real-life story onto the page. “Don’t assume because something happened to you, it’s of interest to others,” he writes.

The list is a little light this week. Got anything to add?

Also, don’t forget to join our Twitter chat this Sunday with Dani Shapiro, author of Devotion. It’s your chance to ask Dani questions about the memoir and her writing process. For details, click here.

I always look forward to these. Even if I don’t comment, I always check at least 2 of them out!

      Have a great weekend,

    • Hey Alexis:

Thanks for the round-up! A great resource, as usual. Nathan Bransford asked an interesting question this week about “What keeps you writing.” I posted my thoughts on Thursday, and Marianne gave a great response – others may want to share their ideas as well. OK, this is kind of a shameless plug, but then, we already knew I had no shame…so.

      Cheers,

      Suzanne
