Blogging Strategy

I help small businesses and organizations set up blogs, figure out what to say and how to say it, and in some cases, actually manage the blog for them. For example, I manage and edit more than a dozen bloggers for Brazen Careerist’s blog, Brazen Life.

I also enjoy creating blog content. That means writing engaging, conversational pieces that will interest your readers, so you can focus on building your business.

Social Media Strategy & Execution

Small business owners and organization leaders often know they should be using social media, but sometimes they don’t know how. That’s where I come in.

I’ll help you grow your online community as a means of bringing in new clients, building your brand or reaching other goals. Some companies hire me to create a social media plan, while others ask me to actually build an online community for them.

My favorite social media tool is Twitter, because it helps you connect with people you don’t already know. That means I’ll do a fabulous job of helping you grow a Twitter network strategically if you bring me on board.

Public Speaking

I’m available to speak to groups about these topics:

• how to use the changing workforce to your advantage
• how to create your own career (or become a “slasher” or solopreneur)
• the power of taking a career break (and what I learned by backpacking solo through Africa)
• how to use social media to make your own luck

I’m new on the speaker circuit, which means I’m affordable.
