Thanks, all, for the birthday wishes on my last post! Other than slipping in the shower first thing in the morning and nearly breaking my hip (thank you, universe, for rubbing it in… and yes, I turned 30, not 70), the day was fabulous. I’m lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life.
But you came here for links! Worth passing along this week:
Revision update: After making lots of progress last weekend, I’m well on my way to finishing this revision. This will be another writing weekend for me.
Happy Friday!
Thanks, as always, for the round-up and so glad your 30th went well, with no major injuries!
Thanks so much for the shout-out!
The very fact your blog exists reminds me I should be writing, darnit. That’s a good thing. Alexis = virtual ass kick
Wow. It’s amazing that Rachelle Gardner received 10,000 query letters last year! The sheer numerical odds of landing a literary agent are pretty discouraging. If you have any tips other than networking for the best way to do this, I’d love to hear them!
Did you see this post today from Jody Hedlund? Addressed this very topic! http://jodyhedlund.blogspot.com/2011/01/is-query-system-dying.html
