Five lies unpublished writers tell themselves, at Guide to Literary Agents. I take issue with #5 — I think we have to believe we’re better than the next person (in a not-so-cocky way) to succeed.
I’m way too inclined to act humble and the like, and really, I write best when I get cocky. I don’t have to show the world my cockiness, LOL, but I do need to learn to turn it on when I need it!

I used to write a lot in my books but now I usually just underline and then keep a notecard with the page numbers of what I had to underline 🙂
