Use Social Media Strategically to Reach Your Goals

April 25, 2012 · 2 comments

One of my big goals for this year is to create and launch more digital products. And I want them to fit under one theme: creating the life you want to live.

That’s why I’m SO excited to offer my social media course, Make Your Own Luck, again next month. Because readers and new acquaintances are always asking me how to use platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook to reach their goals. So why not offer a digital course that helps participants do just that?

When I read blogs and participate in online courses, I like ACTION ITEMS. Solid, practical tasks and ideas that I can go out and use that very moment. So I’ve stuffed Make Your Own Luck chock-full of actionable tasks to help participants build an online network that brings opportunities to them. Because being STRATEGIC and SMART about how you use social media is the best way to get the most bang for your buck (or in this case, your time).

The course begins May 7, and it runs for four weeks, until June 1.

It’s super affordable: Just $99 for these daily tips, PLUS one-on-one help from me if you need it. It’s also super EASY to participate in, since it’s email-based. That means everything comes straight to your inbox.

Here’s what participants from the last class had to say about #MYOL:

“The ways you presented information was clear and helped give me the confidence to take one step at a time toward building up my online presence… You respond pretty much immediately to any of my questions. In this often unresponsive Internet/online world, I find that’s rare.”

~ Elise Daly Parker of Our Stories God’s Glory (@EncourageToday)

“I’ve been using all these forms of social media for years, but your course taught me how to use them effectively. I’m now tweeting differently… [This course] is for anyone that is using social media, but wants to use it more effectively to reach their goal — whether it’s making connections, gaining clicks, getting a job, etc.”

~ Rebecca Plevin of Harvesting Health (@HarvestHealth)

To whet your appetite, check out this post: How to Use Social Media to Look for a Job. These are the kinds of meaty tips you’ll get when you enroll in the course — but just one a day, so it’s totally digestible and doable.

Here’s the sign-up page with all the details.
